Bursary application for the ECS3

A limited number of bursaries are available for graduate and PhD students and young postdoc scientists (max age 32) to enable them to attend the ECS3 by covering, partially or completely, the subsistence expenses and/or registration fee.

Bursary application procedure:

1. Register for ECS3 (follow this link). Once your abstract is accepted you will receive an e-mail with information about the payment procedure, however, please do not pay the registration fee nor the accommodation until you receive a decision from bursary committee (April 7, 2016).

2.Send four required bursary documents by e-mail to ecs3@ecs3croatia.org by no later than March 23, 2016.
3.A decision about the bursary application will be communicated to all applicants by April 7, 2016. This e-mail will also contain all necessary informations as for how to continue with registration procedure.

Required documents for bursary application (as pdf files)

1.Curriculum Vitae - single A4 page. Pdf should be named SURNAME_CV

2. List of publications. Pdf should be named SURNAME_LP

3. Recommendation letter from Supervisor or Head of the Department/Group. Pdf file should be named SURNAME_RL_SURNAME OF SUPERVISOR

4.Letter of Motivation for Bursary Application. Pdf should be named SURNAME_M

FREEDOM POLICY STATEMENT

Croatian Association of Crystallographers, as the organizer of the ECS3, shall observe the basic policy of non-discrimination and affirms the right and freedom of scientists to associate in international scientific activity without regard to such factors as ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, language, political stance, gender, sex or age, in accordance with the Statutes of the International Council for Science. At this meeting no barriers will exist which would prevent the participation of bona fide scientists.
